Hey, I’m Zoe Richards! 👋
Fashion lover, cruise enthusiast, and your style BFF for all things “what to wear on a cruise.”
So, here’s my deal: I’m 27, living my best life in Miami, and I’ve somehow managed to turn my obsession with cute outfits and amazing vacations into an actual job. Pretty sweet, right?
Living in Miami has been a total game-changer for my cruise obsession. I’m literally minutes from the world’s busiest cruise port, which means Caribbean cruises are basically my weekend plans. Bahamas on a quick 3-day? Been there dozens of times. Week-long adventures to Jamaica, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman?
Those ships are practically my second home. Being so close to the action means I’m constantly checking out the latest ships, testing different cruise lines, and bringing you real-time fashion advice based on actual destinations – not just what I think might work.
How I Got Here
I actually went to college for this stuff! Got my degree in Fashion from Parsons School of Design, where I learned all the technical things about textiles and design history. But honestly? My real education started when I boarded my first cruise at 19 and realized nobody was talking about the unique style challenges of living your best life at sea!
Since then, I’ve been on everything from tiny river cruises (hello, cute European towns!) to those massive ocean liners where you need a map not to get lost. Each trip taught me something new about packing smart and looking good while doing it.
My Take on Cruise Style
Look, cruise fashion should be fun, comfy, and make you feel like a million bucks – without actually spending that much or stuffing your cabin with clothes.
I’m all about:
- Finding pieces that work for multiple occasions (because cabin closets are TINY)
- Comfort that still looks put-together (no one wants to be adjusting their outfit during the buffet line)
- Helping you pack for those weird weather days (sunny morning, rainy afternoon, chilly evening, formal nights – the cruise classic!)
Real Talk
I’m not here to push whatever’s trending if it doesn’t make sense for your trip. If those chunky platform sandals are going to have you face-planting on a rocky shore excursion, I’m gonna tell you straight up to save them for another day.
What I care about is you feeling confident and prepared, whether you’re trying to figure out what “cruise casual” actually means, or how to pack for a 10-day trip with just a carry-on.
When I’m Not Working
You can probably find me thrift shopping for my next cruise find, trying to convince my friends to book another cruise with me, or testing out packable hat designs that don’t crush in a suitcase (still working on that one!).
I also spend way too much time scrolling through #cruisefashion posts, watching ship tour videos, and dreaming about my next destination which might be the Mediterranean – wow that would be so cool.
Let’s make your next cruise your most stylish yet – without the stress or overpacking!
Drop me a comment or DM anytime with your cruise style questions. Seriously, I live for this stuff.
PS. Yes, I do know how to fold anything to maximize suitcase space. It’s my superpower.
