Seadream Yacht Club

The majority of time, Europe is home for the Seadream ships in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter months. Other regions that have seen a SeaDream yacht in port include the Asia-Pacific and Northern Australia.

Besides accommodation and all meals, your price includes almost everything, including tipping, wine, all sporting equipment and more.

Ships

There are two ships in the Seadream fleet. Both the SeaDream I and SeaDream II mix smart casual with luxurious high-end. Each ship only holds up to 112 passengers, with an exceptionally low crew to passenger ratio. There certainly will be ample elbow room for all guests.

Cabins

Surprisingly, each yacht contains five different types of cabins, each one with its own specific charm and cosiness including the most basic cabin on Deck 2. All cabins contain flat screen TV, laptop computers, DVD players and you can rent a MP3 music player at the front desk.

These port holed cabins would be considered a mini-suite on a mega-ship. They provide two rooms with a bed and separate seating area with a sofa, built in dresser, a desk and a marble bathroom with multi jet shower. Deck 3 and 4 cabins offer the same configuration as Deck 2, but the portholes are replaced with full sized windows.

The next categories are the suites including the Admiral Suite which contain a separate and private en-suite master bedroom, separate dining and living room.

Admiral Suite

The most luxurious cabin is the Owner’s Stateroom which is a master suite that features a hot tub facing the sea.

Dining

There are five-course meals available at the Dining Salon offering new and interesting entrees each night. Many of the foods that are served are local dishes such as traditional meals from the ports that are visited. For a more casual dining experience, try the Topside Restaurant that offers a buffet and a menu. There is no dress code required at either of the restaurants.

The Dining Salon

Other options include poolside or at the Topside Restaurant complete with mini sandwiches, wraps and pastries. 24-hour room service is yet another option.

Spa and Health

The spa menu is extensive promising relaxation for the mind, spirit and body. Their signature style is based on Asian techniques including massages with the Asian Blend massage being their speciality.

Seadream Spa Massage

This massage consists of a combination of the Thai, Shiatsu and deep tissue massage and is guaranteed to give energy to those in need of a boost. A state of the art fitness centre is well equipped with everything to keep you in shape including daily Yoga and Tai Chi classes.

Entertainment

Get ready for some of the most unique out of doors adventures found on any ship. Features include a pool deck with spacious sunbathing areas to soak up the sun.

The ships emphasise activities based on the great outdoors. This includes a virtual golf course and an entire retractable marina that offers water sports, such as glass bottom kayaks, water skiing and snorkeling amongst others. Recreational and mountain bicycles are readily available at all ports of call making sightseeing a personal experience.

There is also a small casino that offers a variety of gaming from poker tables to slot machines.

A more relaxed musical experience is presented in the evening over cocktails. Guitarists greet guests with background music in both restaurants. The Piano Bar always has soft piano music and if you have a personal favourite, just ask and they will play it!

There are other lounges to stop in for a pre or after dinner drink including the Top of the Yacht bar on deck 6.

On clear evenings, guests can attend the Starlit Movies™ featuring the latest films under the stars. Popcorn and drinks are included.

It cannot get better than this on a luxury cruise with SeaDream, especially when yearning for casual chic. Besides scheduled sailings, either ship can be privately chartered.
